Zaishen chest
Hi guys,
Well like the title says ... Do you guys think that the zaishen chests are usefull, and you could get some good stuff from it? And should i get some keys to open the zaishen chests? Or do you guys think that the drops are crap, and just a waste of money ? Leave your comments ... |

It's a friggin' lottery. You buy tickets (keys) and hope to not get screwed, but usually get boned anyway. Is a better profit in selling the keys, unless you're either really lucky or just want the zaishen title.

It's a fun way to inefficiently spend your money and occasionally get lucky enough to compensate a minor percentage of your overall net losses.

I get most of my keys from the XTH predictions so its essentially free. Sure i could sell them for alot but if i use them on the chest i get a few nice items + gain in the ziashen title. I don't really see this as a loss more than some nice free goodies

People don't open the chest for drops. They open the chest for the title and for the gamble. If you're opening it for money, you're going to lose alot more then you'll gain. |

I somehow dont think you elaborated enough...
Every month there is a big tournament, usually at the end of the month, for both GvG (8v8) and HB (1v1). Before these tournaments start, you can go to www.guildwars.com and go to the Xunlai Tournament House section, enter your account and password (just as if you were logging into guild wars), and make predictions for the top 8 of both the GvG tournament and the HB tournament. You get reward points based on how many you predicted correctly, or near correct, and you trade those reward points in for ZKeys at a ratio of 5 reward points / Zkey. Use the keys on the chest, or sell them for about 4k a pop and you got yourself some (or a lot) of easy gold. |

See the Xunlai Tournament House thread of Information thread for lots of information on the whole process (yay redundant redundancies).
